House renovations, day 1

The house was built in 1836 so it needs a bit of work. Thankfully, the old house has good bones and has been fairly well maintained throughout the years. There are only a few troublesome spots and the vast majority just needs some freshening up with new paintable wallpaper, paint, and floors :) Day 1 consisted of going through the house and making a to-do list :) Here are some photos from the first day!

Spent the day cleaning out some of the old junk/garbage, ripping up old flooring, and washing the walls/trim to prepare for paintable wallpaper application and paint :)

  1. A labor of love. It will take time but you are young enough and have children that can help. Keep the pictures coming. Best of luck, take it one or two rooms at a time.
