House Renovations, day 16 - MOVING IN

So we cleared out our storage locker in town today and started moving stuff into the house! I forgot how much stuff we own....thankfully everything survived storage well! Unfortunately, the new laminate in the living room did get two chips/scuffs due to the sofa bed being a jerk! LOL Everything is SUPER cluttered and not at all put away yet, but not bad for moving a house worth of stuff in one day! LOL

House Renovations, Day 15

We got the hallway upstairs finished, the stairway finished, the downstairs hallway finished (aside from the flooring) the flooring put down in the living room, the kitchen finished (aside from flooring), and got the first coat of paint on the hutch in the dining room. It was a VERY productive day!

This was one of the most irritating things to happen during the course of the renovations! HAHA We had to cut several strips of laminate flooring an inch wide.......just wide enough that a strip of new molding wouldn't cover the gap unless we laid another strip of laminate down! HAHAHA

House Renovations, day 14

Got the hallway almost all primed and final colors going up on the stairs and hallway walls (the trim pieces between the bannister and stairs were unprimed because we weren't sure what the final color would be (whether we wanted it blue to match the stairs or white to match the bannister). We also finished the color in the mudroom.

House Renovations, day 12 and 13!

Got a LOT done in the past two days! Working on some trim and finishing touches in the kitchen, got the rest of the priming done in the downstairs hallway, stairway (minus the trim and stairs), and upstairs hallway. Got the bathroom paint finished, got the flooring laid in guest bedroom #1 and #2, and started putting painting the final color in the mudroom :D
